ABOUT US
Dynamic K-9 is an organization of professional dog trainers, dedicated to the training of top quality animals for the purpose of private ownership of properly trained and obedient dogs for individual or family companionship. We are a non-franchise dog training business that gives bi-weekly donations to local animal shelters in order to keep our furry friends away from euthanasia. Dynamic K-9 is located in Northern San Diego County in Southern California. Our climate is very temperate, with summer highs in the 80’s and 90’s and winter lows in the 40’s and 50’s. The Institute is located near the town of Ramona, a hilly rural community about 30 miles north of San Diego. We train all year around, our opening hours are from 8:30AM to 4:00PM 7 days a week.
What we train in our fully off-leash advanced obedience program are the commands of sit, down, stay, heel, wait, place, leave it, recall, off, and break. We use each of these commands to communicate with the dog verbally using proper tonality as well as using leash pressure to guide the dog into each command successfully. Our most frequently used training tool is our non-shock e-collars, we use these to train all off-leash commands as well as to correct any unwanted behavior without hurting the dog in any way. The e-collar uses tens unit technology which is the same technology chiropractors use for muscle stimulation, in no way will this e-collar shock or injure your dog.
In our Behavior Modification program, we will discuss and personalize the program to focus on the specific unwanted behaviors you would like your dog to rehabilitate from. We work with all dogs who may suffer from mild, moderate, and severe behavioral issues ranging from anxiety disorders, fear aggression, shy/fearful dogs, leash reactivity and leash aggression, dog aggression, small animal aggression, territorial aggression, excessive barking, obsessive behaviors among other more serious and complex behaviors. This program can take anywhere from our 3 week standard time to 8 weeks in more severe cases.
The puppy management program will include handing common puppy behaviors such as barking, chewing, potty training, crate training, walking on leash, jumping, biting as well as training all of our off-leash advanced obedience commands. We train puppies from 10 weeks and up that are up to date on all vaccinations!
